Children & Young People

Children are a very important part of the Church family and welcome at all of our services.  We have a special children’s corner, Dragon’s Den, where they can play safely. In addition, there are special activities for them.

Our Family Service on the 3rd Sunday of the month

This is an informal service designed for parents and young children on the third Sunday of the month at 9.30 am.

We understand how difficult it is to keep children happy in church and for parents to feel relaxed. So this service lasts for less than 40 minutes, is very interactive and the children love the music, talk and activities

It doesn’t matter whether you’ve never been to church before or haven’t believed anything for a long time. We hope you will enjoy hearing why we believe that Jesus makes such a difference to life. Please note that the Family Service does not meet in August or December.

We get together afterwards for tea, coffee and cake!

Social Events

The Family Service get together for various social events during the year, such as a late Summer BBQ and a Bonfire party. There are also occasional group meetings for the parents to get to know one another.

Young People

We share the ministry among young people with All Saints Wick. Please get in touch to find out how we encourage teenagers to know, love and follow Jesus in a fun way that is relevant for them.

Safeguarding

Our child protection officer is Christine Fowler (direct email here) and we follow all Diocesan guidelines for ensuring child safety.

Church is a family and that means anyone and everyone is welcome from the youngest to the oldest.
