Funerals are a time to mourn and comfort one another, but also to celebrate and give thanks for the life of someone you have loved.

St Mary Magdalene is an ideal place to say farewell. We will help you arrange a funeral that reflects the unique life of the person you knew and as a kind and caring church we will try to support you through this difficult time with compassion and understanding.

Churchyard Regulations

Please note that the Diocese of Chichester has updated its Churchyard Regulations. The new criteria came into effect on 5th April 2026. Approval for any applications for new or amended memorials can only be given for those which meet the new regulations.
