Our Sunday Services
Worship Lies at the heart of our life at St Mary Magdalene
Holy Communion from the Book of Common Prayer - 2nd and 4th SUNDAYS of each month 8.00 AM
This is a quiet and meditative service held in the chancel. A warm and friendly welcome awaits you and it is a peaceful way to start your day. This service lasts about 40 minutes. This service is held on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month, with occasional changes around major festivals. Please contact us to check before coming if you're unsure!
Morning Service - Sundays at 11.00 am
This is a service of readings, hymns, prayers and communion, with music led by our choir. We gather to praise God, to hear from his Word and encounter the living Jesus. While this service takes a traditional form, it is also quite relaxed and is followed by tea and coffee. Most people stay after the service chatting to each other.
Family Service 3rd Sunday of the month 9.30 am for 35 mins
This is an informal service designed for parents and young children on the first and third Sunday of the month at 9.30 am.
We understand how difficult it is to keep children happy in church and for parents to feel relaxed. So this service is very interactive and the children love the music, talk and activities. It is followed by tea, coffee and other drinks for children.
We also run a Family Service at All Saints Wick on a Sunday afternoon if that time is preferable. Click here to find out more.
MIDWEEK Communion - Wednesdays 9.30 AM
This midweek service is held in All Saints Church, Wick. It is a quiet and reflective service of Holy Communion in the middle of the week; a chance to pause, reflect and pray. Please click here for direction to All Saints Church.
